Grays Harbor Raceway is excited to announce that the new clay that was hauled to the raceway in late August has made its way onto the track. Over 110 loads were dumped on the track last Sunday, and by yesterday the track was ready and sealed for the winter.
We would like to thank everyone involved for helping, first off a big big thanks to Jerry Carlson and Brad Holmes for the use of all their equipment and time from hauling, loading, spreading and grading, Slim for all his time coordinating and running equipment. Plus Marvin Prince, Joe German and Pete Muller for the use of their trucks, Bob Oien, Jason Valencia and Jay Cole for driving the trucks. Jeff Bowers for the five trucks and excavator when we hauled the clay. Again without the great support from local business people we would not have the great facility that Grays Harbor has.
